Has it been a decade already?

 

February 7th, 2021  (Post pandemic year)

Salam and hi to whoever reading this. Surprise, surprise! Didn't really expect this blog's still alive and kicking. A lot has changed since my last entry back in 2013. I was still a degree student back then and now I'm a full time educator working in my hometown. Travelling time is now over I reckon? Pandemic surely hits travellohic like me right in our faces I think I haven't been to any airports for almost 6 months now, which really feels quite odd. Used to be my favourite place despite the chaotic, fast-paced life it offers. 

Fast forward to the present. I'm still figuring out whether to keep this blogroll or delete it soon since I've left this space for quite some time now. Feels wee bit quiet here too. I'm pretty sure that most of my followers are no longer active here neither; they are either occupied with life commitments, families or career related duties now that we are all matured adults. Adulting is sure tiring, so kids reading this out there, enjoy your college or school years to the fullest! Good time doesn't always last so make it count. 

To celebrate my inaugural post after a decade of being MIA, I guess I'll share 4 recent photos (read: random) to keep you guys updated, shall we? Let the photos fill you in on what I've been up to lately. 

Picture 1: I was in the middle of my online class with Form 3 earlier today when this came. Definitely made my day! Thanks buddies for the  bouquet. We usually would gather and celebrate, alas! Gotta stay indoor till God knows when. 

Picture 2: Yeap, I've been baking! Mostly for fun - never intended to jump into F&B ever in my life but this is what adulting does to you - IT MAKES YOU DO THINGS YOU'D NEVER EVER IMAGINE YOU'D. Glad I started this though (it all started in MCO 1.0 when we were all locked up at home, out of boredom). I bake still - almost every weekend - and for now it has been one of most therapeutic hobbies ever. After sleeps that is.
